Black Saturday Volunteer Recovery Fund

Your very generous donation of a Web Site design to the recent fund raising event held at the Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club enabled us to put on a spectacular event. Because of the generosity you and the other sponsors showed we were able to donate monies raised to the Volunteer Fire Brigades of Victoria.

We managed to raise $35,578.25 through ticket sales, auction and raffles which far exceeded our expectations.

The Black Saturday Volunteer Recovery Fund is established to care for the welfare of the volunteer firefighters, many of whom lost their own homes and businesses whilst defending the property of others. These men and women faced the most horrendous fires this state has seen with unprecedented loss of life and property. Many of the fire fighters will need specialized counseling after the traumatic days of losses they saw and fought.

These funds will go to just that cause and it’s through your generosity and that of others like you and your organisation that we were able to put this event on. The official sponsor list follows:
