RSS is an easy way for you to keep track of the latest news from your favourite websites in one convenient place. That place could be your Microsoft Outlook email client, your web browser or something else you prefer.

RSS – which stands for Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication – allows you to see the latest headlines from your favourite sites, and to then be able to click directly through to the articles that you want to read.

You do not have to subscribe your email address to an RSS feed therefore you do not get spammed.

The technology is matured however people have not adopted it generally because its misunderstood. The logo is an accurate depiction as content gets broadcasted to people with their (RSS feeds) recievers on. Simliar to a wireless radio broadcast.
